Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our team!
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour, plus bonus potential

Position Summary
As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating the daily schedules of our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical technicians. You'll ensure efficient routing, maintain accurate customer records, and serve as a key communication link between customers, technicians, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate service calls efficiently
- Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency requests
- Dispatch technicians based on availability, location, and skill set
- Manage and maintain the daily dispatch board and technician schedules
- Monitor technician routes and job progress throughout the day
- Prioritize calls based on urgency and customer needs
- Forecast workload and staffing needs 2-3 days in advance
- Communicate job details, traffic updates, and customer requirements to technicians
- Coordinate parts requests with the parts department
- Maintain accurate customer and service records
- Confirm appointments for the following business day
Qualifications
- Previous dispatching or scheduling experience preferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Customer service mindset with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home services, or related industries is a plus
